Like practicing yoga, essential oils can help relieve stress, improve sleep, reduce tension and help quiet the mind. The asana practice is accessible and meditative with distinct rest periods in between the postures. The synergistic effect of using essential oils while engaging in this gentle, yet deep practice is powerful, transformative.
2:00 – 3:15 pm – Kirtan with Journey To Awaken, followed by group meditation (Temple). Learn about and experience the power of sound and chanting. Chanting opens the heart and prepares the mind for meditation. Yoga encompasses much more than the physical practice of asana (postures). Learn how chanting and sound are related to the 8 limbs of yoga known as Ashtanga.
