A note about class levels: All of our classes can be considered gentle yoga, and beginners are welcome at all locations. We offer gentle pacing with rests in between the poses while emphasizing breath, body and energy awareness; students are encouraged to take further rest in between postures if needed. Slight distinctions are noted below.
SYC is a cozy studio with carpeted floor and plenty of props as well as windows to let in fresh air while practicing. Sandi has been teaching at SYC since 2001. Convenient to downtown in Curtis Park area.
2791 24th Street #6 (Sierra 2 Community Center in Curtis Park neighborhood). Parking available on street or drive to back of building to parking lot.
Mondays & Fridays, 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. – Gentle Yoga – suitable for beginners/continuing students, seniors or those with specific health concerns.
Tuesdays, 5:30 – 6:45 p.m. – Ananda Yoga – Intermediate/Mixed Level
Light, spacious and quiet, practicing at LRDC is like going on a mini-retreat. Props and padded cushions available.
3240 B Street (near McKinley Park). Enter the parking lot from B Street (pull all the way into parking spaces). The front door (just inside the gate) leads to the temple. To access the yoga practice room, enter the side door (from the parking lot) at about the middle of the building (at top of short staircase).
