Don’t give up! Keep going! ~ With balance

So I broke my wrist about a week ago! What an adventure. Buy I’m not giving up~ I keep going with new accomplishments. I’m typing with one hand and basically doing everything with one hand ~ my nondominant left hand! The pain was excruciating initially and very intense the first 24-36 hours. Oh! and I had COVID, too! But that took a backseat immediately, and gratefully, was pretty mild. I attest that to my daily consumption of NingXia Red, and regular use of Thieves essential oil as well as Inner Defense before and during traveling, or when I may have been exposed.

Initially, my practice went to the wayside ~ it was almost impossible to concentrate. But by about Day 3 or so, I found that I could meditate for about 5 minutes. My body was also starting to get stiff, so I did a short modified yoga practice. About 6 days in, I braved a walk around the block; the fresh air felt so good! I’ve been walking a short bit each day since.

But one of my key practices ~ also modified ~ has been returning to Energy Medicine*. Even doing the exercises with just one hand has made a huge difference. I can feel the energies move up and forward, aligning for my overall health and well-being as this body heals.

And I continue to rest and balance activity ~ like typing here now~ with naps and Netflix. Thank goodness for my husband, Tim. I am so blessed to have him waiting on me, doing all the food prep, etc. My body’s healing requires nutrient dense food, and I get very hungry these days!

*I highly recommend Energy Medicine for Women, also by Donna Eden.
